I recently joined back Mcdonald's as a Trainee Manager at Mcdonald's one of the busiest High volume outlets I was recommended by an ex-colleague from pappa rich asked me to join alongside him but he posted a different site of the store both of us got the busiest store outlet to help out the store
 

In 2008 I joined Mcdonald's as a service crew it was more than 10 years later I decided to join back Mcdonald's as part of a friend's recommendation.
 

I am happy as well to be able to get to view the management at a headquarter at aperia mall and the people around and gain reconise at the start of the hospitality where they welcome all the trainee manager :D. 

mY FIRST OUTLET THAT I JOINED WERE UNITED SQUARE, BENDEMEER OUTLET THINGS HAD CHANGE AFTER 10 YEARS AND THE MCDONALD NOW THEN I WORK IT IS REALLY DIFFERENT BECAUSE OF THE KIOSK SYSTEM AS WELL AS TABLE SERVICE DURING MY TIME THERE NON OF THIS ITEM. 


kiosk system was there way before covid but it will pill up the order as more orders came by and it's havoc for the kitchen to jugger through the order. That result that the reason why waiting time in Mcdonalds is always very long and so on. 

"Working in mcdonald's as a trainee manager was not easy for those who had not had experience in service crew and handling manpower plotting of crew positioning especially when there handy manpower". 

THE OUTLET THAT I GOT WERE HAVOC AND THE CREW KEPT ON MC WHICH RESULT IN ME VERY HARD TO MAKE DECISION FOR THEM TO PLOT WHICH STATION THEY SUPPOSED BE  

 
through out the years of experience in FNB, THIS IS THE WORSE FAST FOOD CHAIN THAT I have EVER WORK WITH AND ITS DIFFERENT FROM WHAT I USED TO WORK BEFORE IN THE PAST AND NOT THE SAME ANY MORE AS CUSTOMER IMPATIENT WAITING FOR ORDER AND WE ARE TRYING OUT BEST TO SERVE OUT THE ORDERS. 

AFTER I GOT NUMEROUS OF COMPLAINTS BECAUSE OF I FAILED TO HANDLE THE CREW  PROPERLY AS I AM STILL LEARNING MY SHIFT MANAGEMENT. oNE OF THE "INTERN MANAGER"  MC AND HE SUPPOSEDLY BE THE SHIFT MANAGER INSTEAD OF ME . HENCE I DID NOT PREP AND PLAN BEFOREHAND USUALLY WILL PREP BEFORE HAND BUT IT THAT DAY WERE WORSE AND NOT PREPARED SHIFT. 

HENCE I HAD TO TAKE OVER AS A SHIFT MANAGER BUT KITCHEN CREW IS LAGGING AND AS WELL AS FRONT CREW AND FLOOR MANAGER SUPPOSED BE EXPEDITE INFRONT BECAUSE SHE HAD THE MOST EXPERIENCED COMPARED TO ME AND SHE WENT TO THE KITCHEN TO HELP INSTEAD AND PUT ME THROUGH HELL IN THE SERIVCE AS SHE TRIED TO PUT THE ORDER MORE WE CAN'T PUT IT THROUGH THE ORDER BECAUSE THE CREW ARE UNPRODUCTIVE AND ORDER CAN'T BE OUT. AS WELL AS COUNTER NO BODY IS AT THE COUNTER AS I NEED RENDER HELP IN COUNTER AND I CAN'T HELP THE PUT IT THROUGH. the other customer even notice me 2 consecutive that i din send out order because we are really lagging of crew  at the month of July and we running full blood from hell.

i even got doxxed on FB which hurt me the most and yea we are really trying ouR best to serve out the order but the customer don't understand the situation behind it because of lagging of crew. 

AFTER HELPING SO MUCH IN THIS OUTLET FINALLY IT'S MY 4TH MONTH WORKING WITH THEM WHICH MUCH COMPLAINED ARISEN FROM THE CUSTOMER SOME EVEN JUDGE ON MY ATTITUDE WHEN YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THE SITUATION BEHIND IT.  WHICH UPSET ME THE MOST  2ND LY I M ALONE RUNNING ONE STATION I HAD BEHIND ORDER TO COMPLETE AND I GOT NO TIME TO ENTERTAIN YOU AS I AM RUNNING ALONE AND MISTAKEN ME FOR THROW INSTEAD OF FAST. 

i ALSO WAN MY CUSTOMER TO BE HAPPY BUT THEY DON'T UNDESTOOD THAT WE ARE REALLY LAGGING OF CREW AND ONCE THING IS WRONG EVERYTHING BLAMED TO MANAGER ROLE.

I am not gonna say this outlet but its one of the busiest outlet in Singapore and its really a good and bad experience i must say even after I left I saw the google review there is many negative though from them and it's still running the same situation even i left and noting much had changed. 

MCDONALD'S IS SUPPOSED TO BE A HAPPY WORKING PLACE BUT THIS IS ONCE OF THE LIFETIME WORSE OUTLETS THAT I EVER EXPERIENCED WITH DURING MY TIME IN 2008 BENDEMEER AND UNITED SQUARE WOOSH IS THE BEST ! 

Though I LEFT MCDONALD SOME REFLECTION I NEVER THOUGH I COULD SURVIVE THAT LONG IN MCDONALD AS A TRAINEE MANAGER FOR 4TH MONTH AS IT NOT A EASY TASK COMING STARTING WITHOUT AN EXPERIENCED.

MY STRONGEST PART IS IN THE KITCHEN INSTEAD OF SERVICE. However, MCDONALD's IS A GOOD COMPANY that TRIED TO FIND MORE EMPLOYERS TO HELP THEM IN THEIR SHIFT. RECOMMENDED NOT TO GET BUSIEST OUTLET :d 

oNE THING FOR SURE MCDONALD IS ALWAYS NEVER EASY IF YOU DON'T HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE BEHIND  ESPECIALLY FOR MANAGER ROLES ALONG THE WAY I WANT TO THANKS TO SOME CREW THAT HAD WORK HARD ALONG SIDE WITH ME THAT WE MANAGED TO HIT 522K THAT THE HIGHEST RECORD I NOT SURE IF NOW THEY ABLE TO HIT THIS MARK DURING MY TIME. :d 



 

ACTUALLY, I ALSO DO NOT WAN BECAME MANAGER BECAUSE I KNOW THERE A LOT OF ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES NEED TO HANDLE I AM PROUD OF MYSELF TO SAY I CHALLENGED MYSELF THAT I SURVIVED THIS LONG JOURNEY FOR 4TH MONTH BEING INDEPENDENTLY AS A TRAINEE MANAGER EVEN THOUGH I FAILED I GOT NO REGRET AS I LEARN MY JOURNEY ALONG THE WAY. BUT IT DIN TURN OUT THE WAY I WANTED.

GOOD THING IS THAT I ALSO KNEW IT'S NOT SUITABLE FOR ME AS A TRAINEE MANAGER THAT WHY I DIN WAN PLAN TO  CONTINUE WITH THEM.

gOOD THING IS THAT MCDONALD HAD PLAN TO SPEAK UP WITH DIRECOTR ON HOW WE FEEL AS A MANAGER AND ALSO THERE SHARING EXPERIENCED HOW THEY PERSEVERE THROUGH WHICH  INSPIRED ME. AND THE EVENTS THEY PLAN OUT WERE ONLY STARTING BASE AFTER THAT NOT MUCH :d 

wELL LET COME TO THE CONCLUSION THANK YOU FOR THE OPPORTUNITY  TRIED OUT AS A TRAINEE MANAGER  THAT I NEVER KNEW THAT I COULD survive THAT LONG :d THANK YOU FOR PUTTING ME THROUGH HELL MAKE ME A STRONGER PERSON and learning perseverance along the way.
