I studied Maha Bodhi School in 93* batch from by left 2000 to 2005 I failed my PSLE during the year 2005 EM3 streaming and scored around 54 for the first attempt and the second attempt I scored about 64 and had admitted to Balestier hill secondary. I am not sure if I am the lowest PSLE scorer in Singapore. Some fun facts that all my siblings are studying in Maha bodhi school too.My secondary school day, I came from the Normal Technical Stream at Balestier hill secondary school since 2016 it was then close down and merge with Beatty secondary due to low intake.

I had taken my NT level test but failed my English and Maths subject that the requirement is given for us to pass our NT level - I once told the teacher that I would like to retain another year and retook my NT level but she said do not waste time . Graduated at 2007 - 2010 Hence I had followed her advice and had moved on. My Secondary school CCA is National Police Cadet Corp because at first my future career was be a policemen after while I had change my interest.

 

I joined NPCC to experienced how police work,I also had the interest in Parade and Ceremony which involved in marching drill and had participated in Singapore Youth Festival 2008 , NPAP 2008 to commemorate NPCC Day,Ah Hood Garden Parade ,Malaysia Trip 2008 .Hence I am the only one in the class who make it and enters poly.

My dream course I had always wanted to get in is the Hospitality courses like the culinary school and the hospitality management course because I had the background of food and beverage and interest and experienced beforehand. Due to the requirement of getting the courses we needed English and Maths requirements in order to get into the course . Unfortunately, I know that going into the courses that I wanted were really very low.

 

Hence my choice to choose in ITE has very limited and only a handful that I am able to go and I craft out the one that I am interested in going into the course. Then I choose the NITEC FACILITY TECHNOLOGY ( FCT AIRCON ) 2011 -2012, so I am not someone who always keen on the engineering side, so I was thinking if I learned these courses, will I able to repair my own aircon from the course that I took and learned? So this was my first take away. Then I applied at ITE College West ( FCT) pleasantly I am very happy that I had made the right choice to get into the courses. The first batch campus that was newly open. This is where my Engineering journey begins.

 

Meeting Good course manager Mr Leow , Mr Anthony, Mdm Roozi , Mdm Vivian , Mr Kwan to boost the student morale by planning to motivate the student to do well I remembered there every term if a student scored GPA 3 and above they will get an award I was actually aiming for that but I did not get at the end but my highest GPA is about 3 but because of last semester it pull my GPA down and I had also a good journey and met beautiful teacher and friends at ITE College West .We learned like repair electrical 3 way switch , read diagram , test pressure gauge etc.

My Time at ITE college west was a fruitful journey,I had involved at the YEP Vietnam Trip , Safe Home Project , CD lion heart, and Taekwondo as CCA.

 

During my time NITEC 18 years of age my mum had passed away due to smoking and not a good term with my Dad. Before she passed on she wants me to get into poly and which I gladly promised her. and I did it (to be continued on how I get to poly) But then during my adult days, I did not really take photos with her only young time before she passed on. My advice to those who are reading this be grateful to what you had now. Before you realize is too late to get back the things you wanted.

 

Upon graduating I also look out for courses to upgrade my self upon graduation and motivated my self to work hard to get into Higher Nitec Courses that I had wanted to upgrade my self and had an interest in robotics so then I look out for course such like Mechanical Engineering.

I also did tried applied for poly application during nitec days but it did not work well so I din manage to get in during my first attempt.

Although I did not manage to get into poly, I had then managed to get the course I had wanted at ITE College East Higher Nitec as my GPA requirement was met for the entry .
