
MY SCHOOL SDL PROJECT -1806244H

My course is Clean Energy most of the stuff and project that I did was Electrical Related
For my course also involve in some coding - C++ (Year 1.2) , Python Rpi(3.2) and Microcontroller Year (3.2).
Apart from it I also had many up and down journey during on course and I managed and did my best to stay and fight on throughout the course I also met a journey where I almost got kicked out of school because of the failures I met in 1.1 journeys after my National Service and a gap year before coming back to school . It is tough, but I also managed to revive back while on the course of studies.
During my course of study, I also learned to take responsibility to take charge of work and help my group mate along with when they need help and with my best abilities.
Below are the modules that I did while I on the course of studies the things that I had done completed my assignment.
EDSI - Electrical Diagnostic System Integration - Year 3.2 Module (Group work)
Called - Lighted Indicator Home Security Project for Elderly and For those living alone at home
My group teammate had come out with Ideas on Rpi Project that involved elderly staying at home and for those living alone
An item that we needed is DHT 22 To read the temperature etc fire and so on so when the temperature read something wrong the think speak will able to get the data from that, think speed is for those
volunteer and relative of his ability to view what wrong within the house for example if there is fire and reach certain temperature over temperature the alarm will trigger to inform the neighbor. Because we do not had smoke gas detector , we use DHT 22 to simulate Smoke Gas Detector.
This is the prototype that we tried , but failed , so this I put it here so u can visualize how our project works raftly.
We also to do a light indicator outside beside the doorbell so when the owner is home he pressed the button the Green LED light-up means that the owner is home.
When the motion sensor is detected the orange led simulates the home LED and will light up the home LED.
When the owner is not home the Red LED will light up.
So when the passer-by are able to see if the owner is home
If the passer-by required something when he/she presses the button the within certain timing the buzzer will be sound if the elderly din response to the passer-by it means that the elderly are dead, so if the passer-by is there can ask the neighbor or the community for help the buzzer is good enough to alert the community.
I also tried to do it with a prototype with my project but failed because of it wiring management kept tangling around and is messy, so we plan to use it on a breadboard to run the scenario.
Due to the button is retractable we use a 20-sec timer to count down the LED it to suppose to stay on the LED if is real life scenario.Here are some of the video of our project
Basically the whole idea of this project is to protect the elderly at home and for those who is living alone at home


Aircon and Ventilation Mechanical - Year 2.2 Module (Group Work)
Short ACMV - We learned how to do and plot psychometric chart and etc Indoor air, Outdoor air there would be some scenario given from our teacher then we plot and calculate accordingly


EDSI Overview - We also touch on Autocad 2021 we learn how to read and draw with our dimension, DOL Starter patch up circuit , PLC Diagram, and as well as python.
Fuel Cell Project Module - FCESS - Year 2.2 Module (Group Work)
In fuel cell module we learned about so-called like chemistry and mixture of physics and more on like saving batteries using a different types of fuel cell .
In project, we did like soldering - in group of 4 and also like design our stuff, like video editing and we spread our workload and task to one another here the youtube video that my group had done for the project.
So for me my task is to get a protoype design , schematic drawing and as well as video editing ,patching up of circuit as well of USB and teacher will grade accordingly if is working etc. My friend did the battery indicator tunning well I did the patching up and schematic

Industrial Sustainability - ISEE Subject -Year 3.2 Module (Individual Work)
We learned the basic function of all the excel , such as , average , sum and function to make our self more comfortable in to get in touch with excel, function like how to hide etc , read the 3 sigma chart and so on, x bar , s bar . We also use Homer Pro for our Lab section .
The module also touch on like ISO 9001 etc as such and also 5s safety workplace

EDCS - Efficiency Drive Control System -Year 3.2Module ( Individual and Group Work)
We work individually on our soucing on Motor - then after that we combine our ideas and do a group presentation - as such for this module we learn how to identify shunt motor and so on.
For our individual Project we take out our electric compliances then we need learned and spot which type of it Electric , isit a shunt motor , or so on . We dismantle it using our own house appliances then we identify the electric motor. And calculation of reduce capacitor using Kvar method etc.
For Practical we do - Direct On Line Starter - read diagram on DOL, using tachometer to do the measurement on the electric motor

As for Dfund 1 and 2 - Year 1.1 and 1.2 Module (Individual Work)
We also learn How to patch up circuit etc and how the binary works teacher will gave us like scenario as such to meet our target for example press , 1 the side the number will show 0 and so on .


Solar Cell Project - Year 2.2 Module (Invididual Work)
We learned how to use sketch up function to draw for our project

Calculation on like how many Solar panel I should put and Inverter and the brand of the solar cell - By far this is my one of my favourite modules through out the course

Electronic Prototyping - EPT Year 1.2 Module
We do Soldering on Speaker and as well as LED Lights, and how to put 3 pin plugs wiring etc. We also learn to follow through with our lab instruction manual step by step. etc what is C3 , and so on there also visualization for us so we know where to put. And PCB board etc
The most worrying part is that if any one mistake we are done for this grading marks because the grading is like weather if the things are able to work as my hand is not stable while holding the soldering but hey I managed to over come this soldering task , thankfully it works !.

When is still working condition
Electrical Systems and Power Distribution - Year 2 Module ( Individual Work)
This modules touch similar too EDCS abit but more on electrical side
For Lab we use - ETAP software - plot some symbol and to differentiate different type

My School Major Project - Year 3 Module (Group Work)
UV lights at that time was during Phase 2 Home base learning- hence we won't not able to go back to school to do our prototype but to show the working part of the code such as DHT 22. We come out scenario for example when the door sensor is close the LED UV light will turn on to sanitize the item inside with timer 30 sec or even minute , when it open it will stop the sanitizing, when it close back the sanitize process start again. Once it done the buzzer will then sound. DHT 22 also collect data to read the temperature and humidity with twitter , and think speed .
We learn to do Gant Chart to plan our schedule, Poster, Autocad 2021, and as well as Rpi python.

Data Analytics - Year 3 Module ( Individual Work)
We Use Knime and as well as Tableau
For example how to plot chart , sensor location read using satellite.Again differnt people have different types of scenarios givento meet the task given .How to clear missing column in Knime etc etc and CSV write convert union to Tableau

Energy Management and Audit - By right is Year 2.2 but I took it 3.2 (Group Work)
One of the toughest module yet I managed to overcome. We learn Like how to calculate Green Mark achievement , pump curve , brake power , slip law and etc and also using excel plot line chat like similar to ISEE , but then again this is we follow and read the instruction given that the task to us.
We also manage to go to chiller plants , to gather our reading to do for assignment task .

Engineering Physic - Year 1.2
We learned about the basics of Newton's 1st law , 2nd law and third law and also internal light reflection and so on. As engineering students all must know Engineering Physics.Here are the project that I had done for the Physics
Circuit Analysis Part 1 and Electronic Device Part 2 - Year 1.1 Module and Year 1.2 Module
For Circuit Analysis this module we learned how to calculate in series or parallel circuit.
For lab we do some experiment for light detection ray that act like motion sensor and sinwave etc.

For Lab project , we do like robots, like adjustment direction etc ( No picture)
Soft skills - Work Com , Pcom , Icom , GCCD ,Innova . ( Year 1 and Year 2 module )
These skills taught us presentation skills and also work in teams, and also to prepare ourselves for when we go to work for understanding how to prepare our group presentation skills
For Persuasive we had to come out a proposal and present it
For Icom is to prepare ourselves for work and to know what to use for our presentation or not to use for our presentation.
For Work com, we learned how to write a proper email and as well as presentation, so during the test, our teacher will give us some scenario then we gonna act it out during the meeting, writing and presentation.
Global Citizenship - GS2 - HBL - We volunteer through online my group had volunteered with Engineering Group to come out ideas on how to repair laptop etc for the volunteer for beginners who doesn't know how to repair laptop and so on using Google Web.Here are some sample that my team had created for this website
Innova - We come out our own design business canvas and come out with our prototype to present to our teacher.

Global Studies 1 - At that time was not a covid period for that student who are not going overseas, we go to communities center to learned more about a different type of culture and as well as martial arts , and about Asian country.Also going to old folk home to do some community work as such .
