Since young, I have always been watching NDP and I always be wanting to be part of it to be in the marching contingent and an NDP Fans for Parade and Ceremony segment. 

​

Ever seen I joined NPCC I always be wanted to be part of the National Day Parade Marching Contingent. But then due to late selection, I am not able to join NDP 2008 instead of joining NDP 2008 I then joined Singapore Youth Festival 2008.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 

After I graduated from Secondary, it seems that I cannot let go of the Marching drills that I had learned then in NPCC. 
 

 It's been  2 years since I graduated from Secondary, so I joined NDP 2010, NDP 2011  during my secondary school days as a Heartware network volunteer usher. So I was very impressed with the way how NTUC March when I was an usher.
 

Volunteer General Usher role as a guide crowd, to enter the stadium etc to the seating gallery, and Primary school NE Show.

The following year. I approach one of the Marching contingent peeps through Facebook.

To enquire on how to join the Marching Contingent of NTUC, so I approach the daughter who is marching and she said that needed become Nebo Membership in order to join the contingent. 

​

Yes, I managed to joined Nebo Membership, and approach the in-charge of NTUC NDP Marching Contingent, and to inform me about the selection process date and so on.
 

After joining the member 

My first NDP 2012 Parade & Ceremony is with the NTUC - National Trade Union Congress. We will go through the selection trial process that will be guided through from our trainer, then after that makan section and briefing by the RSM .
 

The time when I first joined the first rehearsal will start as early as End of the week of march.
 

I also make use of the training as an exercise routine for me to lose weight etc because  Marching can make u sweat a lot and lose weight in each training section.
 

Then we head by to NEE SOON CAMP for our rehearsal. Before going to Floating Platform we rehearsal at NSC - Which is famous for NDP Rehearsal under Parade and Ceremony.
 

One of the highlights for NDP is the Milo Van and Old chang kee.
Following year Koi sponsored and  Liho.And KFC for dinner. KFC  & Pizzahut had been disbanding due to healthy propose since NDP 2018 onwards and  To hype up the participant to continue work hard each show and reward ourselves.
 

The training took up like April to Aug per semester Every Sat. 

Even though training looks tiring but it worth well, again let us remind one another of the late founding father LKY and how was NDP Produce is through Singapore Gain independence in  1965. Without our late founding father, we won't have NDP today.
