All Singaporean males have to go through SAF Or Home Team to serve there obligation term for 2 years  no matter what PES status they came from be it PES A , B, C, or D .My Pes status is C2L2 Because I had a knee injuries that causes me to Downpes -  and excuse RMJ called Running Marching and Jogging.First of enlistment I recalled quite tiring because we had to report in the morning and seat boat to tekong then we took oat taking etc I believe every male who wen't through NS know what I am talking about.For those  :D do remember to research before heading in army camp or ask your friends who had served finished.

 

 

I had been posted to Ninja Coy Platoon 1 where you know Ahboy to Men Series yeah and Ahboy to man series was shoot on Orion Company. Which is opposite my company. For Pes C recruit, we go through 1-month BMTC at tekong where we get to shoot our and grenade. Due to my knee, I am not able to do grenade but for Shooting, I manage to go through.

Still remembered we march to the cooked house for meals in the morning etc and we only had like 20 to 30 min break in between.

 

My buddy and I are very nervous about the shooting because of the strict rules for example if we never listen to commands before shooting we will get charge etc.

 

We spoke to our commander about the nervousness that we had, but he told us that we are fine. But thanks goodness we both did fine at the end. Because we followed the SOP together. But I din get mask man because my Night shoot din does well. The only Afternoon I did well .

Yeah if you watch Ah boy to Man 1.I am basically the lobang king in camp everyone called me NinjaVan because I brought only dried food in camp for them to enjoy.

​

We also visited Singapore Discovery Centre as part of ns journey like to know why do we need to serve NS etc and the history behind it. 

​

I do really enjoyed my time with my Ninja Coy people because we get to meet different people from all walks of life to know each other strengths and witnesses.

​

After I did with my BMT I had posted to OETI nearly half of my section went to OETI too its called ORDNANCE ENGINEER TRAINING INSTITUTE  about 3 months where we learned to repaired as a technician like Landrover n so on. 

​

During our training at OETI, we also graduated at BMTV 21 that was held at Sembawang Camp we stayed there for about 2 weeks to prepare for our parade and it was during the haze period in September 2015. Where we endured the parade because it was so humid because of the haze etc . However, we manage to deliver a good parade that we had been working hard for.

The course time was so so because I had some hiccups with friends that I had make there but still was a good memory because the instructor there makes the lesson more fun and interesting.

​

After training most of us were posted to 3AMB at Jurong base for like 2 weeks then after that, we were spread out.

 

So I am pretty sad that I had to post out to another camp while my friends enjoyed their journey because of there bonding is strong.

​

Now I only thing is that I am saddened that I had to part ways with the friends that I  had met.

 

 

I had then posted to  CBRE Maintenance coy at Seletar camp. However, when I was at Seletar my journey is not a good start because there some hiccup but I managed to put through but I posted both sides Seletar camp and Selarang so sometimes I had to run there and run here.

​

Selarang was far better but can be better but I feel safe because I had nice commanders taking care of me.

 

And I also found new foods that I like is the Selarang Nasi lemak where I go and eat there every day after the run because it is cheap and worth it and keeps me motivated.

 

 I also took part in NDP 2016 ( Sports Hub)  and SAF Day 2016 ( SAFTI) as a Colour party Orderlies Take out the color party cap before the parade. As well as Fun packer ( NDP 2017).During my time it was conducted in NDP 2016 Sports Hub Indoor. That why outsider doesn't get to see us uncase the colors just like the F1 pit where they do public etc.

​






 

Funpacker was also a good experience but tiring experience however while I am at floating platform I felt proud that these bag is I pack want before distribute to the kids for NE Shows . It was really fun packing while we do form up one line and pass down the item etc .

Food that I enjoyed well in the army 

Seletar - Chicken Chop Ommulette - ( Closed ) No more in camp 

Selarang Camp - Nasi lemak -(Still open I guess )

Kranji Camp - Carbonara - (Closed)
 

Outside camp food -   Salted Egg I forget the restaurant name near Changi Prison Opposite. It is nice. I also ate that after every day I book out from camp. 

​

Before also I even ORD I also then discussed the planned with my juniors on how to apply my Poly application - and some etc.

 

So I wrote my goals and things to do and decide weather if I would want to go for poly after ORD after I had discussed with my junior. He was so good in doing this.

 

Because the past I told him why my application failed many times.He said because I choosed all the competitive course that result me in not getting a place in poly.So he told me what to go and what to choose etc ... and so on 

 

After 1 year of part time working experience I  later  tried his method  when application open and it works successfully.(More to My Poly Journey)

While times flies while serving NS, I met some good friends some were not good friends, the title that I learned in NS is endurance, perseverance, some friends I had met till today I contact but some were not because they did not know me well enough or yeah maybe they just hate me for some reason because I had offended them in some ways. 

 

Some stories I had to close by discretion because I also had not a smooth journey while serving NS. Although I did not really enjoy my journey while serving NS,But I did enjoy that the coy had planned cohesion and I really did enjoy it.

​

Before my ORD the last cohesion I remembered was BBQ  after that I ORD le on July 7 2017 where it falls on a Friday. 

​

After I ORD from Poly and  One Year later at 2018 I had applied for Poly Application - I managed to Enter to CEP 2018 - Common Engineering Program
